I've been eyeing that Anthropologie bed for quite some time - I love it!

Things That Inspire

Oh, I used to dream of having a canopy bed as a child! I love the look of all of these images, and there are some I have never seen before. I prefer the look of panels with a canopy bed, I think it looks more romantic!

I recently went to a showhouse, and one of the guest bedrooms (designed by Phoebe Howard) had a queen size canopy in a very small room. I have read that many designers love to use canopy beds in small rooms, but I did have the overall sense that the canopy dominated the entire room, and made it feel crowded.

Pottern Barn Teen also sells one that is much like, but half the cost of the Anthropologie bed. I bought it for my daughter.

Love these beds! I have always wanted to build a frame on my ceiling, and do panels and a valance for a "faux" 4 poster.

Neirman Weeks also carries a great one :)

I'm bookmarking this; I love when bloggers share their sources!! Thanks!

Love this post! I saved the Miles Redd photo so I could blog about it soon too. I also loved seeing the Annie Selke bed in a recent feature on her too in Traditional Home I think. I encluded the fab canopy bed treatment in Mary McDonald's home on my blog today. Her bedroom is equally Divine!!

I love those beds. I wonder how they would look with my Serta mattress.
